REACH REGISTRATION FOR BORON AND BORON SUBSTANCES

IUCLID 6

REACH registrations must usually be submitted using the IUCLID software package, the latest version of which is version 6.   This is available now and can be downloaded from the IUCLID website.   The Functionalities of IUCLID 6 are described in this document.   A ECHA video on IUCLID 6 version 1.3.0 [dated May 4th 2017] is linked here.   ECHA has provided some training material in the form of a presentation, exercise and training substance dataset.   The relevant page on ECHA's website is linked here

Under certain circumstances, essentially for a new registration, dossiers can also be prepared in REACH-IT - see the ECHA webinar on this subject.

We recommend that, in preparation for submission of their own Joint Submission REACH registration files, all registrants install IUCLID well in advance of their first intended registration date - it can be a time consuming process and not always entirely straight forward.   For the avoidance of doubt, please note that all legal entities that will participate in the Joint Submissions must prepare their own 2018 REACH registration dossiers using IUCLID 6.

For the May 2018 registration deadline, it is mandatory to use IUCLID version 6. Installing, understanding and learning how to use IUCLID  can be a challenging task - so that you can achieve a successful registration
